My Story

Redefining the dental hygiene experience.

I graduated from John Abbott College with a degree in dental hygiene in 2018, where I was honored to receive the Sunstar Excellence in Prevention Award. My early career working alongside dedicated dentists gave me a strong clinical foundation and refined my skills in diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient care.

But over time, my role in a traditional dental office began to feel repetitive. The pressure to move quickly made it difficult to think critically or provide the prevention-focused care I believed in—leaving little room for truly personalized oral health care. I knew there had to be a more intentional way to practice—where each visit is an opportunity to educate, intervene early, and support lasting health outcomes.

Why I Chose A Different Path

In a standard 60-minute appointment, hygienists typically have around 45 minutes to provide care. While this model supports high volume and production, it often means only addressing surface-level concerns, without the time to explore underlying causes. That approach runs counter to the principles of preventive care—and too often, the experience felt transactional instead of transformative.

And it wasn’t just patients with complex needs who could have benefited from a more individualized approach. Whether someone was managing a chronic condition, coping with anxiety, facing communication barriers, or simply wanted a more active role in their oral health—I knew there had to be a better way. I wanted more—not just for myself, but for my patients. A space where their needs weren’t just acknowledged, but truly prioritized—with time, insight, and intention.

Pioneering a New Paradigm in Dental Care

When the Québec legislature amended Law 15 in September 2020—formally recognizing the advanced training and clinical judgment of dental hygienists to provide independent preventive care—I saw the opportunity to create the kind of practice I had always envisioned: one built on clinical excellence, deeper patient connection, and meaningful preventive care

By 2025, I brought that vision to life. I created a space built around advanced preventive technologies and a personalized, systems-aware approach to care. Here, I look beyond the surface—investigating underlying contributors to oral health issues, evaluating how your overall health may be affecting your mouth, and using evidence-based tools to guide clinical decisions.

Together, we’ll review findings and design a care plan tailored to your unique needs—laying the groundwork for stronger, long-term oral and overall health.
